Applicability
Technical matching of engine, signals, drivers and vehicle functions.
Engine and trigger pattern
Start with the engine code, cylinders, firing order, crank pattern and cam signals. Vehicles sharing a model name may differ by market or year; matching plugs do not establish the same trigger setup.
Drivers and factory functions
Confirm injector impedance and the required drivers, whether the coils have ignition modules, and whether the throttle is cable-operated or electronic. List separately how the factory dashboard, transmission, immobilizer and body network depend on the ECU.
Resolve the wiring before power-up
For every signal, list the source, pin, electrical type and ECU channel. Resolve trigger, driver and shared-pin conflicts before applying power, checking static readings and testing synchronization.
