Operating range versus maximum input

G4X operates at 6.5–24 V; 36 V is the maximum input limit. Design power and protection for the normal operating range.

Channel count versus driver capability

Logic ignition, low-side, high-side and peak-and-hold injector outputs are not interchangeable. Do not double-count shared pins such as CAN2 / digital inputs or throttle / auxiliaries.

Hardware revisions and software features

MonsoonX internal knock requires V3.0 or later; G4+ Xtreme CAN2 requires PCB V1.4 or later. Menus and similar enclosures do not replace hardware identification.

ISO 11898-2:2026 — High-speed CAN physical layer

Defines high-speed CAN physical medium attachment requirements. It does not make application messages interchangeable.

Confirm transceiver compatibility, bus settings, wiring and the actual message definition.

ISO 16750-2:2023 — Road-vehicle electrical loads

Addresses electrical loads on road-vehicle electrical and electronic equipment. EMC is outside its scope.

Confirm supply conditions and product-specific test evidence; this part does not establish EMC compliance.

ISO 20653:2023 — Enclosure ingress protection

Defines IP protection and related tests for road-vehicle electrical equipment enclosures.

Verify the complete assembly and installation condition. A sealed connector alone does not establish the ECU rating.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 — Cable and wire harness acceptance

An industry reference for cable and wire harness assembly workmanship and acceptance.

Agree the revision, product class, drawings and inspection records for the particular order.

Incoterms® 2020 — Delivery responsibilities and risk

ICC rules allocating delivery obligations, costs and risk when incorporated into the sales agreement.

Specify the chosen rule, named place and edition; taxes, payment and warranty still need separate agreement.
