01 / About e-Manage Blue

About e-Manage Blue

Blue starts as an airflow-signal correction controller with five adjustment dials. PC software and optional injector / ignition harnesses extend its functions. Its software selection depends on the unit serial number, so the Blue name alone is insufficient for a complete tuning package.

Five dials provide basic airflow / pressure-signal correction.

Matching PC software adds 16 × 16 mapping and live tracing.

Optional wiring extends injector and ignition functions.

Software selection follows the serial-number branch.

05 / Questions about e-Manage Blue

Questions about e-Manage Blue

Why is the Blue serial number needed?

GSC-50000 and later use e-Manage software; GSC-49999 and earlier use Support Tool. The two connection setups differ, so check the serial number before choosing a tuning cable.

Does a Blue base unit include ignition correction?

Expanded injector and ignition functions depend on the optional harnesses and setup. Confirm these accessories explicitly rather than assuming them from the controller name.

What can the e-Manage Blue base unit adjust?

Blue corrects airflow or pressure signals at five RPM points. PC tables, fuel and ignition expansion require matching software, interface and optional harnesses.

Can e-Manage Blue control additional injectors?

Yes, with the matching optional equipment, up to two additional injectors. The required injector harness and setup are additional to the base unit.

Is e-Manage Blue software verified on modern 64-bit Windows?

Legacy software supports Windows 2000 / XP / 7, excluding 64-bit systems. Newer systems require software, driver and interface communication checks.

Do the five Blue dials replace PC mapping?

The dials provide basic correction at five operating points. Matching PC software adds more detailed speed/throttle mapping, live tracing and data logging. The physical dials and the full software functions are different levels of adjustment.

Can Blue reduce injector pulse width like Ultimate?

Blue’s optional injector function adds fuel; Ultimate supports increases and decreases. Their fuel correction methods and wiring differ.

Does airflow correction equal independent injector control?

No. The base unit changes a signal seen by the factory ECU, which still calculates its own response. Direct injector and ignition functions require the specified expansion wiring and configuration.

Does every Blue installation support VTEC or NVCS switching?

VTEC / NVCS switching-point adjustment needs matching vehicle signals and optional harnesses. Switching-point control is not full continuously variable cam control.

Which Blue software should I install first?

Select e-Manage for GSC-50000 and later, or Support Tool for GSC-49999 and earlier. Verify communication, then read and back up the existing calibration.
