Applicability

Platinum Sprint 500, separately from Sprint RE, Elite and Nexus.

Engine configuration and injection mode

“Suitable for 1–8 cylinders” does not mean eight independent injector outputs. Sprint 500 has four high-impedance injector and four ignition outputs; sequential, semi-sequential and batch strategies depend on engine configuration and available channels.

Electrical and functional data

Sprint 500 has four high-impedance injector and four ignition outputs with an 8.6–16.5 V DC supply range. Match wiring and drivers to injector impedance, output type and actual load.

Load, MAP and sensor calibration

In ECU Manager check MAP sensor type, pressure units and range. With the engine stopped, absolute pressure should match local atmospheric pressure. Verify calibration against a known pressure before setting boost protection.

Wiring and first-start order

After checking power and ground, validate static sensors, injector cylinder order and ignition allocation. Confirm trigger sync while cranking, then verify fixed ignition timing. Use Platinum ECU Manager and its help, not NSP / ESP.
