Applicability

Applies to the stated manufacturer reference model; wiring must match the actual hardware revision.

Model and software

G4+ Monsoon uses connector A and PCLink G4+. It lacks internal wideband control, throttle motor drive and knock input. Later MonsoonX hardware features do not apply.

I/O and electrical limits

First allocate pins for the 4 injection outputs, 4 ignition outputs and auxiliary functions. Monsoon has no throttle motor driver; a 3-wire idle valve requires both Aux 1 and Aux 2.

Analogue voltage range0–5 V sensor / external-controller signals

Temperature sensor typeNTC thermistor inputs; use the matching pull-up / calibration settings
Knock inputsG4+ Monsoon has no internal knock-sensor input
Spare output reuseSpare ignition outputs may be auxiliaries; spare injection outputs cannot switch general loads
CAN / hardware revision1 CAN bus
Auxiliary-output allocationAux 1 / 2 support high-frequency PWM or VVT; three-wire idle uses both

Shared pins and revision conditions

Aux 1 / 2 support high-frequency PWM or VVT; a three-wire idle valve occupies two outputs. Unused ignition outputs may be reassigned, but unused injector outputs are not general switches.

Sensor and driver connections

Connect sensor ground, power ground, 5 V reference and 0–5 V signals to their assigned pins. Match trigger type and edge, ignition power stages, and injector / solenoid impedance and current.
